HEY, I’M DENISE, A DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER BASED IN HERTFORDSHIRE AND I’M PLEASED AS PUNCH THAT YOU’RE HERE!
A lover of honest and totally genuine moments, always looking to create pictures that capture your raw story. Life and love and all the in-between stuff too. I’m just an ordinary person, hoping you’ll share my love of authentic moments and their beautiful longevity. Real doesn’t go out of fashion and it’s what has always driven my style of shooting.
My journey into wedding photography started 14 years ago, but I’ve taken photos for as long as I can remember. I just can’t help but shoot all the time, I mean constantly. If I’m not at a wedding I could be shooting a family or wandering the streets photographing people there. I get totally blasted now if I turn my camera on my own (grown-up) kids, but still I try.
THINGS I LIKE DOING
when I’m not being a wedding photographer
01.
WALKING THE STREETS.
Not totally aimlessly but usually without much of a plan. I’ll take my camera and get stuck into some street photography, ideally somewhere pretty and warm!

HANGING WITH MY FOUR KIDS.
Yup, I have four which is one reason why I’ll be unruffled by yours. They’re all grown up now and pretty good company. Amazingly they still give me the time of day so I’m thinking I must’ve done something right parenting them.
03.
I LOVE ADVENTURE.
This comes in many guises. I’m equally happy travelling to the other side of the world or simply to a new restaurant. New things float my boat, change is good for me.
04.
YOU’LL NEVER HEAR ME SING
I know how bad I sound. However, when I’m safely on my own I’ll happily annihilate a tune or two.
05.
I’M RUBBISH AT GOING TO BED EARLY
So I’m not really a morning person, and far more productive late in the day.
06.
I BUY FAR TOO MANY HOUSE PLANTS.
As a consequence, my house is a bit of a jungle. I don’t know what any of them are called, but they seem to like it here.
