Aldwickbury Park Wedding- Sam and Ollie-Hertfordshire wedding photographer.

When I first met Sam and Ollie, Sam was expecting their second baby and was determined to sort out their Aldwickbury Park wedding plans before the new arrival came along. They both wanted a laid back approach…a true reflection of their personalities and mine too! Their photos had to include their kids and they didn’t want anything too posed. A perfect gig for me!

It was a while before we met again, but we kept in touch and they shared the baby news with me when she arrived along with wedding news too. It’s soooo good when your clients feel like friends! It’s really important to me that couples feel comfortable and relaxed around me. I’m around for the whole day after all.

Having not shot an Aldwickbury Park wedding before I made sure I visited the venue prior to the big day, just to check it out. (I really like surprises, just not the photography kind on a Hertfordshire wedding day!) It’s a beautiful location, set amongst golf greens and a little wooded area. The latter a great place for some photos with the kids. I decided to take some bubbles along, knowing that their kids would be likely to get bored during the photos.

Yep, I think of everything!

Thankfully they had the BEST best man. He took charge of the bubble machine and we got some great shots of the whole family together.  All done in about 10 minutes. (Thank you again best man!)

Kids at weddings? Hell, yeah!

I just love kids being involved in the wedding and I love kids in wedding photos too. There’s something about their presence that just relaxes everyone. They make people laugh and add character and personality to every shot. I’m not uptight about perfectly dressed kids smiling sweetly at the camera. I’m about capturing images with soul and meaning. They’re the photos you’re going to go back to time after time as they will mean something.

They’re real moments and they evoke real memories.

Thank you to Aldwickbury Park for having us for the day and thank you to Sam and Ollie for choosing me as their Hertfordshire wedding photographer, it was a blast. You and your families made me feel so welcome.
Here are a few favourites from this Aldwickbury Park wedding and a few words from Sam and Ollie can be found at the bottom of this post.

“Had a chance to look through these and they are just stunning, I love them all and so does Ollie. Thank you for the lovely words on the website too.
We are so happy we found you to be our photographer, I can’t imagine having anyone else photograph and be part of our special day.
Ollie and I were talking and were saying we were going to miss you as we got on so well with you.
Hopefully our paths will cross at some point after this, and maybe you could do some photos of H and T for us.
Thank you so much for these beautiful photos, I knew they would be good but all of them have far exceeded how good I thought they’d be!”
