It’s a totally joyful thing to go back to photograph families when a second or third baby comes along. Understandably, I was thrilled to see this bunch again for some baby photography in Hertfordshire.
I’d already photographed both boys a few weeks earlier in an outdoor baby shoot. Little “O” was born in lockdown. Subsequently, mum and dad needed some gorgeous shots of them together to share with family.
Having photographed this wonderful family a few times before I knew it would be a fun and relaxed photography session.
Authentic Baby Photography
Importantly, keeping it real is paramount to my baby photography sessions. That is to say, you don’t need to put on any airs and graces. Above all, I’m looking for those real and honest connections. Tiny moments between you and your new arrival that would perhaps usually go unnoticed. Definitely undocumented. These make the pictures that will transport you back in time every time you look at them.
Hertfordshire at Home Photography Sessions.
Choosing to have your baby photography at home means you’re cocooned in your comfort zone. If older siblings are being included, they can come and go as they please. As a result they can duck into, and out of the shoot as they please. There’s no need for them to be contained or to become bored.
Certainly, in this baby photography session big brother was able to come and go. He danced, bought his favourite book along, wandered off for something to eat. That is to say, my photography sessions are RELAXED. They are totally baby and child led.
Real Moments for Real Memories.
In the same way that I’m relaxed about what your kids do, I’m relaxed about how you are too. Moreover, I’m not at your home to judge. Furthermore, clutter, mess and chaos is part of family life. However, it’s not compulsory! Trust me, if you’re a neat freak I’ll go with that too.
My baby photography in Hertfordshire captures all that you are at this moment in time. It’s about documenting those early days with your newborn. Those days that go by in a blur and so quickly. It’s about getting you all in the frame, as this is your story.
