Coltsfoot Country Retreat Wedding. Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer
I first met Louise as her quest for a Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer got a little frantic. Having been let down by her first photographer, she set about finding someone free for her wedding day. Thankfully, her Coltsfoot Country Retreat wedding fell on a date that I was free. Therefore, it was all systems go from then on.
Last Minute Coltsfoot Country Retreat Wedding Plans
With just two weeks before the wedding we spent time to discuss what she wanted from her wedding photography. Crucially there wasn’t a lot of time spare. However, I still visited both the church and Coltsfoot Country Retreat before the date to scope them out. Importantly, I like to visit your wedding venue before the day. Thus enabling me to view the light and location before the chaos of the wedding day.
Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer
I’m a wedding photographer based in Hertfordshire, although happy to travel wherever your wedding may take me! Luckily though, this time, Coltsfoot Country Retreat is just 10 minutes away from me. Therefore super convenient!
Set amongst the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, Coltsfoot is the ultimate setting for your wedding day. Perfect for both summer and winter weddings. Coltsfoot, in this, instance set a cosy candlelit atmosphere for this winter wedding.
The Perfect Wedding Day
A beautiful day was had by all at this Coltsfoot Country Retreat Wedding. Interestingly even the dog made an appearance! Firstly, the wedding ceremony took place at St Boneventure Church . During a happy service the couples 4 year old son took on the important role of ring bearer. Impressively he pulled it off, no hiccups there!
Secondly, the bride and groom made their way to Coltsfoot Country Retreat. Courtesy of her uncle, the transport was a handsome vintage car. The winter blew cold. None the less, we stopped for a few photos as the sun went down.
Partytime at Coltsfoot Country Retreat
Celebrating in the bar, the guests listened to “The Wedding Tenors” As as the afternoon turned tonight candles were lit and the celebrations went on. Now, it was clear that this crowd loved to party. So, as the champagne flowed, laughter filled the air.
Coincidently, their first dance song was an all time favourite of mine. (Good choice guys!) I loved that it was a dance anthem rather than a slow song. Played by Bluemark entertainment, who subsequently had them up dancing long into the night.
