Commercial Photography in Hertfordshire with Alice Parrish Training Solutions
Often commercial photography in Hertfordshire doesn’t feel like work at all. Working with Alice, from Alice Parrish Training Solutions was no exception.
Firstly Alice contacted me with a brief that stated that she disliked clinical, posed stock photography photos. Furthermore, she wanted something very personal and different for her new website.

Crucially, every commercial photography project I take on involves a pre shoot consultation. Importantly, this gives us the chance to discuss your business and your ideas. Subsequently, allowing me to design a shoot specifically for you.
In Alice’s case, after chatting and exchanging thoughts and ideas I suggested that we include her two boys in the shoot. Primarily her business involves teaching through play. Consequently, adding a couple of kids to the procedure seemed a good idea. I wanted to add movement and mess to her photos. Also, personality and to add a relaxed and approachable dimension.
Collaborating Commercial Photography Ideas
Sharing is a great way to communicate what you’re after. I always encourage clients to put together a mood board of ideas. To send pictures they like, Pinterest boards and websites. Creating a gallery of images that truly reflects you and your business is paramount.
In return I’ll send my ideas too. To clarify and to help illustrate to Alice my ideas, I sent over a few sample shots. Happily, Alice loved them. So we were in business!
The Commercial Photo Shoot.
I have used my home studio as a backdrop many times. Based in Hertfordshire, I’m well placed by being minutes from the A1.
Fortunately Alice bought along many props to add to the shoot. However, I am able to provide these too, depending on your needs.
To conclude, you will see that this shoot was FUN! I got to spend a couple of hours simply playing. This included varying versions of slime and gunk!
