“We’re really no good at having our photos taken” It’s a claim that I hear a lot from my wedding couples. However, it’s a claim that I dare to challenge. An engagement photo shoot, or a pre wedding shoot is the perfect way to prove to you that, It’s Going To Be Ok! Let me explain, it’s simple, all you need to be is yourself. I endeavour to capture authenticity, real emotion and connection. Firstly, I’m here to celebrate your love with you, to highlight your happiness and show the true you. Secondly, I’m championing your quirks, your uniqueness and all round quaint ways. In this case, Adam and Em chose to have their engagement photo shoot in Hertfordshire.
Why is a Pre Wedding Photo Shoot a Good Idea?
It’s important to remember that an engagement photo shoot/pre wedding photo shoot isn’t a necessity. My wedding photography is mainly shot candidly. This means that there’s very little interference from me. Your wedding day will play out as it’s meant to and I’ll be ready to capture all that happens, when it happens. None the less, spending an hour or so in front of the camera before your wedding day is always going to be beneficial. Firstly and above everything else, you’re going to have a beautiful set of images. All taken without the added stress of a wedding day. Secondly, if you are feeling a little nervous about being in front of the camera, a little practise will boost your confidence.
An Autumn Engagement Photo Shoot in Hertfordshire
Adam and Emily’s engagement photo shoot in Hertfordshire fell on a stunning Autumn day. The woods provided a glorious backdrop. In the light of the late sunshine Adam and Emily radiated, their bond very apparent. In spite of their declared coyness around a camera I think they smashed their engagement photo shoot totally! It needs to be said that I try hard to put all my wedding couples at ease. I totally understand that being the centre of attention can be so alien to you. Likewise, I appreciate that some couples respond to a hands off approach, whilst others like a little help. Therefore, if this is the case, I’m happy to give gentle direction.
