Essendon Country Club Wedding Photographer| Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer.

To say that these two had a difficult lead up to their wedding is a complete understatement. Therefore if ever there was a time that I wished for everything to be perfect, it was on the morning of their big day. As an Essendon wedding photographer, I care about your day.

Just like many of my couples, these two captured my heart.

The sun shone brightly the morning of the wedding, promising a day full of sunshine. Excitedly I set off to meet them and their families. Their cute flat was the location for bridal prep, filled with make up artists, hairdresser and lots of girls! I captured the girls getting ready before setting off for their Essendon Country Club wedding.

As the morning passed the blue sky turned to grey, and then black as ominous rain clouds set in. By the time I’d arrived at St Mary’s Church, Welwyn where the ceremony was taking place the heavens had opened and I was running to take cover. Along with a number of groomsmen and guests!

So much for Mother Nature playing ball.

Not all weddings go according to plan. Luckily I’m fully equipped to deal with this!

After an emotional and personal ceremony the British summer redeemed itself. Gratefully were greeted outside the church by sunshine. The earlier down pour stood only to high light the shafts of sunshine gleaming through the dispersing clouds. Thankfully for the rest of the day the rain stayed away.

E and C’s Essendon Country Club wedding got into full swing. As the sound of chatting and laughter filled the air I did my thing and documented all the moments. Capturing connections and the real narrative of love. As the afternoon turned into evening we were treated to a (hair raising!) golf buggy ride. Bumping across the dunes for a few more photos before the night time celebrations began.

Their first dance was quickly followed by the best man’s request for traditional Greek dancing. He led and the rest of the guests quickly followed. The party was started and it continued long into the night.

Proof really that “life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, you’ve just got to learn to dance in the rain.”

Wishing E and C all the happiness for their future together, here are a few shots from their Essendon Country Club Wedding.

You’ll find a few kind words from Christian and Emma at the bottom of this post.
