Gosfield Hall Wedding Photographer with Lorraine and Sam.
When I first met Lorraine and Sam as their Gosfield Hall wedding photographer I was welcomed into their home like a close friend. I had actually met them both at a previous wedding that I’d shot earlier on in the year. Lorraine was one of the bridesmaids, I instantly loved her warmth and vitality and Sam’s amiable personality bounced alongside hers. If two people are meant to be with each other it is Lorraine and Sam.
Although most definitely not camera shy, the pair of them wanted unposed, relaxed photography reflecting who they are and what their day was about. They had complete faith that I’d deliver this. They’d seen my work and were happy to give me a free rein. My perfect day!
Why Choose a Gosfield Hall Wedding?
This was my first time shooting a Gosfield Hall wedding so I took a trip over there prior to the big day to scope it out. I found a wonderful venue with the most impressive bridal suite EVER, It didn’t disappoint. As always I earmarked a few locations to do a few bride and groom shots and left excited to be going back there.
Lorraine and Sam chose Queen Charlotte’s Oak panelled gallery for their wedding vows. This room boasts a 120ft long aisle, surely the longest in Essex? This gave me ample opportunity the capture Lorraine and her dad making their way down the aisle to meet Sam. It’s always such an emotional moment! Their wedding vows were unsurprisingly relaxed, funny and also very moving. I just can’t help feeling involved during the ceremony.
Beautiful Autumn Wedding
As the afternoon went by, the sun shone, warming the early Autumn air. This gave everyone the chance to spend some time in the beautiful outside courtyard for pre wedding breakfast drinks. We spent some time taking some bride and groom photo’s and invited family and wedding party along too for a few group shots. Lorraine and Sam were such good sports, uncomplaining as I asked them to clamber up onto a large window sill for me. It’s that artistic vision wreaking havoc again, it did give us a great shot though! Thank you also to Gaynor, the wedding co ordinator for not moaning at me whilst we did this.
Gosfield Hall is beautiful, I’d love to go back there. So, if you’re looking for a Gosfield Hall wedding photographer please get in touch.
