Hertfordshire family photographer Woodland photo shoot
I had the good fortune of being available when I was contacted by this family to do a rushed, last minute woodland photo shoot a few weeks ago. We grabbed a few hours in the beautiful surroundings of Sherrardswood for a family photo shoot before they left to fly back to India to live nearer their family. Luckily we were completely fortunate with the weather and the sun shone prettily through the trees. Therefore February looked more like July!
One day woodland photo shoot, next day India.
The two girls relaxed quickly as we played with their bears. Quickly finding pine cones for them to nibble on. (Bears do eat pine cones right?!) We had chosen to incorporate the bears into the woodland photo shoot as they hold a special place in their hearts. I think they look really cute!
Hopefully by now, the girls are beginning to settle in to their new surroundings. I’m sure they are both embracing their new adventure with the same warmth and enthusiasm that they showed me on our shoot.
Making connections with lovely people is a really special part of my job. For a small moment in time I love being part of their story. Capturing moments for families to cherish as they move forward with life.
You may leave people and places behind, but you can carry the memories of them forever.
