London Wedding Photographer.
I was thrilled to bits when I was approached by Laura and Andy who were looking for a London wedding photographer.
To say they were my most laid back couple ever is an understatement. Interestingly, they didn’t even visit their wedding ceremony venue! (I’m not even joking.)
None the less, I did. To explain, I will always visit a new venue if I’ve not shot there before. Whenever possible. Consequently, this means there are no surprises on the day. I arrive prepared.
Relaxed Reportage Style London Wedding Photographer.
The sun shone and I hopped between two preparation locations to photograph both bride and groom getting ready. Both parties were as cool as cucumbers. However, Andy did break into a little sweat when he dressed his son. Mistakenly, in my grey jacket instead of his own. The confusion and horror on his face when the jacket didn’t fit was hilarious!
We all left together and made the journey into London in convoy. Therefore arriving in plenty of time at Camden Town Hall. If anyone is interested in seeing their location you will find it here.
After a short but sweet ceremony we drove through a busy Camden High Street to get to The Freemasons Arms in Hampstead. A really laid back venue which suited this pair down to the ground. The place where they would hang out in “the early days”!
A Day to Remember.
I just loved working with this pair and their family. I was welcomed into their warm and happy day, surrounded by their closest loved ones. After a short time wandering along Hampstead Heath for a few photos we made our way back to the pub so the celebrations could begin.
Below are a few of my favourites from the day. Natural, honest and uncontrived wedding photography.
