Emotional Summer Rowley Barn Wedding.

I was a little disappointed when Naomi and Glenn first contacted me to shoot their Rowley Barn wedding. Simply because I was already booked out for the evening on their date. Luckily for me, they decided to go ahead anyway and chose me to shoot their Rowley Barn wedding for as long as I could. We agreed that I’d shoot from the bridal prep at The Laura Ashley hotel in Elstree through to the end of their wedding breakfast.

From our first meeting I knew we were a good match for each other. Their laid back approach matched my Hertfordshire wedding photography style. Choosing to document their day naturally, leaving me the freedom to curate their memories quietly and unobtrusively.

“Yeah they’re just awesome! Some of them look like they’re fresh out of a wedding magazine. Seriously pleased with the results and your talent is very obvious.”

Why Choose a Rowley Barn Wedding?

This was my first time shooting a Rowley Barn Wedding and I have to say it’s a fantastic venue. Set just off the A1 it’s easily accessible, yet feels as though it’s deep in the countryside surrounded by fields and trees.  The newly renovated barn setting is a wonderful backdrop to photograph against.Furthermore the venue is a “dry” hire. Thus leaving you the freedom to cater to your own tastes.

The beautiful barns are sat amongst stunning Hertfordshire countryside and gardens which at this time of year where in full bloom. Making a gorgeous backdrop for your Hertfordshire wedding photography.

Arrive at your Hertfordshire wedding in style.

Naomi arrived from The Laura Ashley quirkily in an old VW camper, you can hire one yourself from oh snap. Every bride needs one of these! Oh snap will drive you to your venue and then hang around until after your ceremony. Perfect if you’d like some wedding photos including the camper van.

After an emotional ceremony, (seriously, not a dry eye!), Naomi and Glen chose a relaxed, summery vegan tea party for their wedding breakfast. Guests sat at sociable trestle tables and  everyone laughed and chatted filling the marquee with a warm and fuzzy atmosphere. I love my job, getting to photograph families and friends as they catch up and connect delights me every time I do it.
