Hitchin Lavender Photoshoot Welwyn Garden City Family Photographer

A couple of weeks ago I decided on a Hitchin Lavender  photoshoot as they were open for a late evening. Agreeably, the evening sun was setting and the field of lavender glowed in the golden light. Busy bees were buzzing around us, thankfully that didn’t bother my four kids. Essentially, if you leave them alone they tend to leave you alone!

Family Photography at Hitchin Lavender

Hitchin lavender creates a beautiful setting for a photoshoot. However, if you wish to have professional photos taken there, they do charge a fee. Because this was a personal photoshoot for me, we just paid the small entrance fee.

Interestingly, this fee allows you to cut your own bunch of lavender to take away. In addition to this there is a beautiful 17th century barn on site. Here you can buy products made from the lavender grown. Not to mention the huge collection of locally made cakes and goodies. Unfortunately we were too late for that, but there is always next time.

Natural Family Photography

My family photography is always kept natural. Therefore, I’d prefer to photograph families just busy being themselves. Essentially all you need to do is turn up for the photoshoot. Rest assured that I will take care of the rest.

Keeping moments authentic makes beautiful pictures that will evoke true emotion. Showing your families true personality is of utmost importance to me. This is something I’ve learnt from taking pictures of my own children. it’s always the “real” images that I’m drawn too. Never the posed ones featuring false smiles.

Dreamy Summer days in Hertfordshire

We have since dried our bouquets of lavender and the sweet aroma fills the house. During these warm summer nights I have a little reminder, along with the photos, of a perfect hour spent on a Hitchin lavender photoshoot.

If you would like your own family photoshoot, either at Hitchin lavender or another location, drop me a line. It’s easy to do so on this page here. I’ll come back to you to chat over your options.
