Milling Barn Wedding Photographer With Adam and Emily

Naturally I was thrilled to be chosen as Adam and Emily’s Milling Barn wedding photographer. We’d spent time together before their wedding day, as they chose to have a pre wedding photo shoot. Luckily we got a dry and sunny Autumn day to create some precious pictures for them to treasure. I love how easy these two are with each other. As a consequence their connection truly shines in through! It was a joy to know that I’d be photographing them again on their Milling Barn wedding day.

Why Being a Milling Barn Wedding Photographer Is So Great!

Milling Barn has an array of wedding photography locations. It’s a real gem for me. Importantly, I like to create imagery that’s unique to you and your wedding day. That is to say that’s it’s not just a copy of something you’ve spotted on Instagram! Therefore, the endless options to be a little different at a Milling Barn wedding really makes it a great wedding venue. I particularly love the dark wooden barn exteriors and the thistles amongst the tall grass (that glow in the late summer light). If you’ve enough time to venture down into the woodland, you’ll be rewarded with stunning pockets of light. these are perfect for photographing warm intimate moments between the two of you. However, seasons change and outdoor wedding photography can be difficult in some weather. Thankfully Milling Barn has plenty of indoor alternatives if we need to take cover from the elements!

Small and Intimate Wedding Photography at Milling Barn

Adam and Emily’s Milling Barn wedding was a small and intimate affair. Choosing to keep their day small meant that it was very warm and personal and relaxed. Very much like Adam and Emily actually! It was full of thoughtful and individual touches. In particular, the wedding vows that they wrote themselves. Needless to say, I was moved to tears, as were many guests! It was important to them both too, that we spent some time away from guests creating some beautiful pictures of just the two of them as newly weds.

Wedding Day Personal Touches

Undoubtably, meeting all my wedding couples before the big day is an advantage and a must. Firstly, I find it priceless to listen to your wishes for the day and your wedding photography. My style of shooting must be a match for what you’d like. Chatting this over and explaining how I work ensures smooth execution on the day. On the whole, I’ll photograph your wedding as it unfolds. To clarify, I’m not going to manufacture moments or force you or your guests to pose and say cheese. Certainly, a wedding day provides enough genuine and authentic magic which I’ll be busy documenting naturally. Secondly, meeting me should put you both at ease! Clearly, you’ll have to feel you can trust me and be yourselves. After all, I’m there with you all day!
