Relaxed family photography St Albans.

The arrival of their first baby and a special birthday sparked the idea of a photo shoot for this new little family. These two milestones coupled with her sisters visit from Australia prompted Sarah to contact me to arrange some relaxed family photography in St Albans.

Choosing our relaxed family photography St Albans location.

We needed a location in or around St Albans to suit. It had to be wheelchair friendly, push chair friendly and also suitable for a dog too! Before our shoot I visited a few locations to check out their suitability. (Something I always do with a new location.)

Eventually I came across Highfield Park which looked ideal. Beautifully maintained gardens and wild orchards, with easily accessible paths running through it. This location was to suit us perfectly.

Best times for family photography.

Working around new little mans feed and sleep times, we arranged to meet early evening. This is particularly wonderful time of the day for family photography as the light is gentle and flattering. Luckily for us, the weather was kind too. We were blessed with a warm and sunny evening.

I think we created a stunning gallery of photos. Capturing both relaxed family group shots and some emotive family moments. This is the kind feed back that Sarah sent.
