Rowley Barn Wedding Photographer

Rowley Barn Wedding Photography in Hertfordshire is always a pleasure. Somehow Rowley Barn always seems to attract the kind of laid back couples that I love. Perhaps it’s the way that they encourage couples to bring their own spin to the day? Thus appealing to couples who want a unique and quirky day day, rather than a traditional one. Whatever the magic ingredient, Rowley Barn weddings are packed full of character and charm. So, when Elizabeth and Gareth came to me in their search for a Rowley Barn wedding photographer in Hertfordshire, I couldn’t have been more thrilled!

Newmly married couple embrace as their wedding photographer captures the moment

“Oh Denise, these are WONDERFUL! Thank you, what a glorious gift you have. You captured the vibe of the day so very beautifully ๐Ÿ™‚

We totally LOVE the photographs. Just love how you were able to capture the more unguarded, less-posed and natural aspect of the day. This contrasts with all the pictures our guests took, which while lovely, provide less of a documentary view of the scenes we missed. They’re really perfect, thank you so much. ๐Ÿ™

(Also, we’ve had a lot of great feedback on your work from those we’ve sent them to, particularly mentioning how well they captured the atmosphere and mood of the day.)”

Documentary Wedding Photography at Rowley Barn

Elizabeth and Gareth put so much homemade effort into the details of their day. Likewise, family and friends did their part too. Busily making bunting, cakes, flower decorations, and generously donating deck chairs, garden games and such like. Consequently, Rowley Barn oozed homemade and wholesome wedding charm. Importantly, Elizabeth and Gareth wanted their day to be all about family and friends, neither of them keen in the spot light! Equally paramount was their wish for documentary/reportage style wedding photography. They greatly wished for their wedding photography to reflect the feel of the wedding day.

Afternoon Tea Themed Hertfordshire Wedding

Thankfully the weather was kind. An afternoon tea themed wedding in the sunshine, complete with live music from family members, was a delight. The relaxed vibe of the day meant that guests were at liberty to kick back and fully enjoy the wedding day. Kids played tin can alley and adults over indulged in cake and cocktails. I mean, that’s just perfect isn’t it? As the evening drew in and it got a little chilly, guests moved into the teepee for speeches and warmth! It was super cosy in there, thanks to both the decor and the atmosphere. My role as Rowley Barn wedding photographer ended as the food vans turned up. Elizabeth and Gareth then entrusted their friends to take over…
