Tewin Bury Farm Hotel Wedding – Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer.
As a wedding photographer in Hertfordshire, I’m always thrilled to document a Tewin Bury Farm Hotel wedding.
Funny how one word can sum up this whole day…”JOY” Now I know weddings are happy occasions and every wedding I shoot is full of warmth, love and laughter. But, these guys just nailed it hands down!
Looking back on their gallery still finds me catching my breath as I see the raw emotion and elation on everyones faces. Interestingly, not just the bride and groom but all who surrounded them.Tim, the groom, was so completely made up and excited about his day that he was a joy to be around. Kate was the most serene and calm bride, completely unflappable. They made a winning combination.
Tim and Kate chose the ever photogenic Tewin Bury Farm Hotel as their wedding venue. Local to both them and a stones throw from me which is always a bonus!
Why Choose a Tewin Bury Farm Hotel Wedding?
Tewin Bury Farm Hotel wedding photography gets me excited every time I shoot there. Offering so many lovely places to take each bride and groom, it’s perfect for every season. Boasting several oak beamed barns to choose from, you are simply spoilt for choice! In addition, the surrounding Hertfordshire countryside and formal gardens are so pretty in all seasons.
Documentary Style Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer.
Both Tim and Kate are self confessed camera phobics and explained to me how shy they were in front of the camera. However, they did want a series of images which included some informal group shots of their key people. I’m happy to do group shots but always keep them relaxed and natural.
Prior to their big day we met up and chatted over their Tewin Bury Farm Hotel wedding photography. Tim had asked that we do a few shots after the meal, hoping for a sun set. The sun set never happened. In fact we got the opposite. This was a torrential down pour during the meal which left us with moody clouds and a little haze instead. None the less I think this worked far better. It’s good to have a photography plan for the day, but loose plans are best as who knows what may happen? Fluidity is key!
Here are a few words from Tim and Kate about their Tewin Bury Farm Hotel wedding photography…
“Denise was fantastic from start to finish. From our very first coffee together in our initial meeting, to the very last snap in the day, we knew we had made the right decision choosing Denise. She captured the most intimate moments and her attention to detail was incredible whilst still trying to capture the raw emotion of the day. We can’t thank you enough for being part of our special day, thanks to you we will have pictures to last a life time.”

Four Reasons Why You Should Consider a Tewinbury Farm Wedding.
The Tythe Barn.
Tewin Bury Farm boasts an authentic 17th century Tythe Barn. Its just beautiful for a wedding ceremony. Inside this stunning barn you’ll find a beautiful solid oak floor, a minstrels’ gallery overlooking the reception venue, and even an undercover bridge over the river, I love to get a shot or two there. This leads onto a private and pretty patio where you’ll enjoy cocktail hour. It can also be set for an outdoors wedding.
The Meadow Barn.
If you’re looking for a venue with a huge capacity then choose the Meadow Barn. The capacity is 350 wedding guests for a sit-down meal and up to 500 for an evening reception and dance party.
You are free to decorate as you wish, putting your own style into the neutral decor.
It’s eco friendly, powered by solar panels. So if caring for the environment is your thing, it’s a no brainer!
The Meadow Barn is licensed for indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies, and the adjoining Riverside Garden a perfect addition for drinks reception and photos.
The Stable.
Being a local girl, I actually remember this when it was in fact a stable! A gorgeous red brick building with a cosy feel. Smaller in capacity, it’s great for a more intimate reception. Of course, your ceremony can take place here too.
The Millstream Suite.
Over looking a wildlife bird sanctuary, The Millstream suite sits slightly higher than the barns. More modern inside, with a bar and enough room for 60/100 guests. The garden boasts a pretty wooden pagoda which you are able to conduct your ceremony in. So cute!
