Rustic and Natural Tewin Bury Farm Wedding
This Tewin Bury Farm wedding looked delicious and felt amazing!
Admittedly, every couple I photograph on their wedding day looks truly happy. However, these two took the biscuit. During the morning the “boys” had been entrusted with the task of decorating the Tythe barn and actually pulled it off. I’m very certain though, that Vicky’s meticulous planning and exquisitely good taste had a lot to do with that. Of course, having Tewin Bury Farm as your wedding venue makes a beautiful canvas to work with.
Documentary Style Tewin Bury Farm Wedding Photography.
Prior to the big day I met with Les and Vicky a couple of times to discuss their wedding plans. Therefore, I knew that they loved relaxed, un posed photography. Interestingly, they told me that they’re both a little camera shy. Luckily, my style of wedding photography means that you need to do little more than show up for your day.
I’m always looking for those, often unnoticed, connections between loved ones. Subsequently capturing the true essence of each wedding day. Consequently, you are left with pictures that are both timeless and honest. A beautiful and tangible reminder of the day.
Why Choose Tewin Bury Farm?
Nestled in stunning Hertfordshire countryside Tewin Bury Farm has to be one of my favourite destinations for Hertfordshire wedding photography. You can choose between a number of barns, should you wish to marry here.
The Tythe Barn is a 17th century oak beamed reception venue. Proudly boasting a minstrel gallery, positioned along the river Mimram. Furthermore, your guests can spill out onto the private courtyard and gardens for a summer drinks reception or BBQ.
However, if you’re looking for a more intimate smaller choice The Stable might be the choice for you. Again oak beams adorn this structure which look totally dreamy when decorated with fairy lights!
If your dream is for an outside ceremony, you can have this too. The Millstream Barn has a specially commissioned pagoda, licensed for outdoors weddings. Just keep your fingers crossed for the weather!
Just when you thought that was enough, Tewin Bury Farm offers more. Maybe you’re looking for a more contemporary fell to your wedding venue? The Meadow Barn has this along with being one of the most energy efficient venues in Hertfordshire.
I mean, what’s not to love?
Your Special Moments are My Special Moments.
Gathering information about your day beforehand means that I know exactly what is important to you on the day. The personal touches that make your day unique are the things I’m looking to document.
Vicky walked down the isle to a song that Les’ youngest daughter had recorded. Certainly a surprise to most, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. (Including mine, something gets me every time!!!) Surrounded by all their daughter’s, family and close friends they made their vows to each other.
During a sunny drinks reception we took a short, but sweet, time out to document their first moments together as husband and wife.
Finally, as the day turned in to night, so the party began. The band played, people danced and laughed and sang and ate and drunk. All thoroughly enjoying themselves. Throughout the evening the couple’s excitement was contagious filling the place with a warm and twinkly atmosphere.
Massive, heartfelt congratulations you Les and Vicky, it was a blast. Thank you for having me along x
