Thankfully there’s an abundance of wonderful wedding day venues in and around Hertfordshire, where I’m based. Offley Place, placed in the pretty village of Great Offley near Hitchin happens to be one of them. Read on to find out why I love shooting wedding photography at Offley Place.

Why Choose Offley Place for Your Wedding?

Firstly, think location! Conveniently situated near links to both London and Luton Airport, your guests will find it easily accessible. But beyond that, this picturesque country Manor House boasts a sweeping driveway and beautiful grounds. Bear in mind too, that his exclusive use Grade 2 listed building has plenty of indoor locations for both guests to enjoy and photographs to be taken! Importantly, it’s good to have the option of both indoors and out for wedding photography.

My Favourite Spots For Wedding Photography at Offley Place

Ultimately, it’s important to me that you get to spend the most time you can with your guests. Therefore, dragging you away from them for a photo shoot won’t be top of my list of priorities. Rather, I’d nip off with you for 15 minutes or so for a few relaxed photos of you together. So, the close proximity of some great features and back drops at Offley Place are really welcome. I love the textured old walls, the wild areas and if you’re looking for some colour, the rose gardens never disappoint. My wedding photography at Offley Place will usually include the fantastic huge windows. Whether shot from the inside or out, they always provide an amazing frame. Similarly, the old doors and the sweeping staircase can do the same.

Perfect Wedding Venue For A Unique Day

Offley Place, although a traditional style Manor House, lends itself also to a modern or alternative wedding day too. The Conservatory and Hester Ballroom are simply decorated, leaving you the option to style exactly as you’d like. In addition, Offley Place are happy to accommodate any number of guests, up to 250. Their spaces are bright and light filled, so perfect for wedding photography through out your day.

My wedding photography is focused on real and authentic moments that show the true essence of your day. If you’re more interested in partying than posing, I could be the fit for you.
