Engagement Photoshoot in Hertfordshire

I was super excited about this engagement photoshoot, I’m a Hertfordshire wedding photographer so well used to capturing love! Happily, this two had love in bucket loads. Their happiness was infectious!

As luck would have it, the bluebells were out in full at the time of our shoot. Therefore, I decided to take this gorgeous, newly engaged pair into the woods to use the bluebells as a backdrop.

A Relaxed and Happy Engagement Photoshoot

It should be noted that this engagement photoshoot was a surprise gift from the bride to be’s mum. Interestingly, she requested “Just beautiful, natural shots of a photogenic couple” Importantly, that’s precisely how I like to capture you during a photoshoot. (Whether that be an engagement photoshoot, a wedding photoshoot or even a family photoshoot.) Ultimately I aim to keep things relaxed and natural, enabling you to be yourselves. This way I can capture you at your best! Consequently delivering a gallery of images that fill you with happiness, for years to come. Rachel and Jordan have a choice of images that are a far cry from the selfie taken down the pub! These will become even more special in years to come, to share with future generations.

Why Book an Engagement Photoshoot?

So, you’re freshly engaged and giddily in love! What better time to nip out and spend a little quality time together? Firstly, neither of you are probably used to being in front of a camera. Subsequently this is the perfect opportunity to practise before the big day, when you’re in the limelight. Being the centre of attention makes most people a little nervous to say the least. However, I’m pretty adept at putting couples at ease. (So I’m told!) In addition, if I’m your wedding photographer you’re not going to do any posing really…I’m all for fluent and authentic happenings. You can see from these images that Rachel and Jordan eased into their photoshoot, they’re enjoying genuine moments together. Secondly, this is such a unique time in your lives. Without a doubt, it’s worth capturing. Your memories are important, look after them.
