Summer Wedding at Gosfield Hall
Charlotte and Richard wanted their Gosfield Hall wedding photography to be unobtrusive and authentic. I don’t blame them! After all, it’s a wedding day, not a photo shoot. Now, whilst I will always emphasise the importance of great wedding photography, I’m not about to control your wedding day. My wedding photography will include all the moments of your day that happen naturally. Every wedding day has an abundance of moments. Trust me to capture them all as they happen.
Wedding Photography, Your Way
Obviously, each wedding that I photograph differs from the last. A fact that highlights your uniqueness. For example, Charlotte and Richard wanted their new pup to be included in a few wedding pictures. Wilma made a (very) quick guest appearance as her wedding etiquette hadn’t developed fully! To clarify, there are always little wedding quirks that I will strive to accommodate. In fact, I’ll embrace them. With this is mind you can rest assured that we will meet before your wedding day to chat over all your plans.
Why Choose a Wedding at Gosfield Hall?
In brief, Gosfield Hall weddings are breath taking! It’s a pretty impressive venue. Whether you choose The Queens Gallery, The Grand Salon or The Courtyard you most definitely won’t be disappointed. My favourite has to be The Grand Salon. As a wedding photographer I’m always going to favour the huge windows and light decor. That said, The Queens Gallery boasts the longest aisle ever. If you’re looking to make a jaw dropping entrance to your wedding ceremony, this is the one for you! Finally a Courtyard wedding, al fresco, is a really special place to tie the knot. If you’re looking to have a summer wedding, this could be an option.
The Ballroom at Gosfield Hall
Gosfield Hall boasts an exquisite room for your wedding breakfast. I mean, if it was good enough for the Marquis of Buckingham…Seating up to 116 guests, lit beautifully by numerous crystal chandeliers, you’re certainly going to feel spoilt! It needs to be said that the grounds and gardens also provide endless photo opportunities. Each time I’m there I notice something new. Thus ensuring that your wedding photography is unique to you. Not just a copy of something you might have spotted on Instagram!
Documentary Wedding Photography
Charlotte and Richard had the best June weather for their wedding day. This meant that they could take full advantage of the great outdoors for the drinks reception. Happily, guests mingled in the courtyard as we nipped off for a little couple time, with Wilma in tow too. As always, I’ll keep our time together fluid and relaxed. Favouring natural connections between the two of you over forced posing. I’m told I put my couples at ease, I think you’re in safe hands! Even my most camera shy couples have said they enjoyed their wedding photography experience.
Are You Looking For a Gosfield Hall Wedding Photographer?
I’m a Hertfordshire based, documentary wedding photographer. I will travel as far and wide as your wedding day might take me though! A documentary photographer will photograph your wedding day authentically. On the whole, I’m not going to manufacture or choreograph. A Few Kind Words From Charlotte and Richard
Charlotte and Richard were a joy to be around. Their wedding day was elegant, sophisticated, warm and full of fun. I loved their choice of books and tiny succulents as table decor. As always, simple green and white florals looked classic and tasteful. Their Gosfield Hall wedding photography was a pleasure!
““ Denise made our day extra special. She caught every moment as it happened but wasn’t at all intrusive. Our photos were natural, beautifully presented and captured the day as it was – no forced/ posed pictures. It was the best day of our lives and Denise documented it perfectly.”
