Wes Anderson Styled Shoot Hertfordshire Family Photographer.

A Wes Anderson styled shoot was definitely a first for me!

Sometimes clients come along with their own ideas. However, when I met Molly and Nick I wasn’t prepared for theirs! Interestingly, this fabulous couple were looking for an unusual present for their four daughters. An “out the box” Christmas present. Inspired by their favourite film maker Wes Anderson, they decided on a shoot styled as “The Royal Tenenbaums”.

Hertfordshire Family Photographer Meets Wes Anderson’s Margot and Ritchie.

 

Not only had Molly talked Nick into the shoot, she had sourced their outfits from various thrift shops around Hertfordshire. They were ready to rock and roll. Therefore all that was left for me to do was find some suitable locations.

Having watched many a Wes Anderson film, I knew the look they were going for. Subsequently, we ended up shooting in various Hertfordshire car parks and disused industrial areas.

Margot and Richie got into character and “boom” a Wes Anderson style shoot entailed.

Importantly, Molly and Nick love the warmth and rich orange tones of the film which I replicated in the edit. In addition I added a little grain to give the images a film look. 

To conclude, Molly and Nick chose four images from their Wes Anderson inspired gallery. One for each daughter.  These were framed and given as the most original Christmas presents!
